Throwing a Perfect Bratz Birthday Party

When it comes to birthday celebrations, theme parties are very popular amongst children. In fact, there are stores that are dedicated entirely to selling supplies for parties with any and every theme imaginable. Cowboys and starships, dinosaurs and fairy tales, all things from A to Z can be found, whether at party stores or over the Internet. So, what theme should you chose for your child’s birthday party? Well, if you have a daughter who loves fun and fashion, a Bratz birthday party might be the answer. Of course, you should consider your guest list before choosing a theme. If your daughter intends to invite any significant number of boys, for instance, a Bratz birthday party may not be the best of ideas.

The first thing you will need to work out is also the most obvious thing: decorations. As with any themed party, your Bratz birthday party with be made a success, at least thematically, largely based on how effective your decorations are. This does not require elaborate displays of decorating prowess, though. You can keep your theme alive and obvious with a few simple steps in the right direction. If, for instance, you are holding you party (at least in part) indoors, hang up a few Bratz posters on the walls. It might also help for you to use streamers and such that are an appropriate color palette for your theme (such and pinks and purples.) Using a Bratz doll as part of the centerpiece for each table would go a long way in carrying your theme.

You can also get Bratz-themed party supplies, such as napkins and paper plates, at many party stores. You may even be able to find a Bratz cake. Of course, if you cannot find plates and napkins that are actually in your theme, you can always just use pastel colored items for your Bratz birthday party. If you go this route, go the extra mile with the other aspects of relating your decorations to your theme.

Another area in which you can strengthen your theme is in your games. Since it is a Bratz birthday party, you will obviously need Bratz party games. This is a chance to be as creative as you like. You might split your guests up into teams and race to see which team can get their Bratz doll dressed into three different outfits in succession. You might also use variations on classic party games by giving them a Bratz spin. Pin the tail on the donkey, for instance, might become pin the accessories on the Bratz girl (if you can find a large enough picture to use.)  Of course, you can also use the Bratz board games and such that are available at most toy stores.

Once you have the decorations and games for your Bratz birthday party in place, the hard part is done. For the most part, after those aspects are ready, you just have to keep an eye on your guests and play administrator for the party overall. Just remember, you should have some fun too. Focus on fun, and your daughter's Bratz birthday party is sure to be a success.
